How Mutation Stacking Works
Grow a Garden splits mutations into two groups, and the difference decides how much your fruit is worth:
- Growth mutations (Silver ×5, Gold ×20, Rainbow ×50, Diamond ×50) — a fruit can only have one. It multiplies directly.
- Environmental mutations (everything else) — these stack additively. Their bonuses are added together, then multiplied with the growth mutation.
Special combo rules: Wet + Chilled merge into Frozen, Sundried + Verdant become Paradisal, Cosmic + Galactic become Astral, and many more combos are listed in the table above — combining is how players reach the biggest multipliers in the game.

Environmental mutations don’t multiply each other — their bonuses add together first, and that total is then multiplied with the growth mutation and the fruit’s weight-based value.
